CDG to Host S1000D™ and SCORM® Seminar:
“The Future for Technical Publications and Training”
WELWYN GARDEN CITY, UK, March 18, 2008 – Continental DataGraphics (CDG), a Boeing Company, announced that it will host a new seminar event entitled, “Through Life Support: The Future for Technical Publications and Training – S1000D™ and SCORM®”.
The event will be hosted at the Hilton hotel in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire (UK) on the 15th of April, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A complimentary lunch will be provided.
This educational seminar is designed to provide essential learning for defence industry professionals responsible for engineering, training and technical data management.
The seminar will provide an overview of:
- the synergy between the S1000D™ and SCORM® standards, with insights into the impact they will have on the defence community, and
- the organizational and technical implications of moving to a topic-based training authoring and delivery system.
Also included in the agenda will be a discussion led by representatives from two leading defence contractors, who will share their own experiences and discuss their vision of the future of technical publications and training.
The CDG seminar event will be co-sponsored by PTC, a leading provider of product lifecycle management (PLM), content management and dynamic publishing solutions.
